Kids Art Class-Grid Drawings Continued

In this lesson kids made their own grid drawings.

First they folded two pieces of drawing paper into 16 squares and numbered the squares on each paper from 1-16.

On one paper the kids created a drawing to fill the page.

They cut their drawing into 16 sections using the folds for guides and placed them in a sandwich bag. The other paper was left blank.

The idea was for the class to trade drawings with each other or find someone else to recreate the cut up drawing on the blank paper.
