San Fransisco artist Steven J Backman nicknamed "The Essence of Patience" has been building art with toothpicks since he was a child.


His toothpick creations range from this less than one inch tall replica of the Eiffel Tower made from a single toothpick and glue...



...To this 13 foot long version of the Golden Gate Bridge made with more than 30,000 toothpicks and 100 LED lights, on display in Hollywood's Ripleys Believe It Or Not museum.
