Stipple Art

The work of surreal ink artist Erin Hammill requires not only vision, knowledge and skill, creating Erin's artwork also requires a lot of patience.

Erin Hammill is a stipple ink artist. She uses tiny ink dots, not lines, to create detailed surreal art - a monochromatic type of pointillism.

  2. Couldn't agree more, they are simply gorgeous! I can't imagine doing something remotely close to this, I'd probably be distracted the whole time, and wondering when it's going to done and all. :) But at the same time, looking at these is really motivating at the same time(something I need right now actually)
THanks for sharing as always ^^

  3. Joanne, I just wanted to say thank you so much for featuring my work on your blog. That really meant a lot to me and thank you all for such kind comments. The original drawings can take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on the size. I love stippling even though it can be unforgiving since you cant erase mistakes. The website will hopefully be up in a couple of more weeks. Thank you so much!~ Erin
