Thanks to Christine @ Christine Regan Landscape Painting for the Kreative Blogger Award This came at a time when a little positive blogging encouragement was needed- Thank You!
I am new to the rules but as I understand it this means that I list 7 of my favorite things and then 7 others to pass this award on to. As a person who does not have a lot of easy favorites- no favorite color, song, movie etc- this has required some thought.
A few of my favorites...
1. Spring- the colors, the flowers and blossoms, the smells, the air, the rain, the energy...everything about spring!
2.Walks- 3+ miles, of almost everyday exercise, with a bonus... uninterrupted talk with my husband...or opportunity to catch up with a daughter...or 40 minutes of alone time to think...all great.
3. Hugs From a 4 Year Old- who promises that he will "never stop hugging" me. Maybe I should record his words...he won't remember this promise when he is 16.
4. Art Supplies- watercolors, sketch books, pens, brushes, pencils, pastels anything art. I'd rather buy art supplies than new clothes.
5. Family- chaos, never ending laundry & dishes, noise, a fridge that won't stay full, a disagreement here and there, fun, more ball games than I could ever count, never a dull moment.
6. Art In The Flow- those times when I am totally in the right brain when... the art feels like it creates itself, there is no awareness of anything except the art, and no concept of time. Too bad it can't be that way every time.
7. Good Food That I Don't Have to Cook or Clean Up- I like to cook but I love it (probably because it doesn't happen much) when someone does it for me.
To pass this on here are 7 (of the many) who inspire me. The Kreativ Blogger Award goes to...
Fabio Cembranelli for his sensitive paintings and especially beautiful florals.
Keiko Tanabe for her total dedication to art, producing wonderful paintings every single day.
Sandy Maudlin for her creative art.
Heather Dixon for her animation, imagination & willingness to share what she knows.
R. Garriott for his Photoshop tips for artists.
Jean Van't Hul for her ideas and links-fostering creativity in children.
Milind Mulick for his wonderful work which floods my mind with memories of India
